La presente Norma contiene equazioni utilizzabili per calcolare il flusso che sono simili a quelle della IEC 60534-2-1. Le principali deviazioni della presente Norma, relativa alle valvole multistadio, riguardano:
a) le equazioni per il calcolo del fattore di espansione (equazione 18);
b) la non inclusione della sezione relativa al dimensionamento per il flusso laminare;
c) l’inclusione del fattore di interazione tra gli stadi k (8.8) e il fattore di riscaldamento successivo r (8.9);
d) l’aggiunta di tabelle per le valvole multistadio relative ai valori FL e xT.
