La Norma si applica ai componenti unificati della serie CEI-UNIFER da 9-24/1 a 9-24/9 destinati ad apparecchiature di sospensione longitudinale per linee di contatto. Essa ha lo scopo di introdurre la serie di Norme sopra indicate attraverso l'esemplificazione di due apparecchiature di sospensione realizzabili con i componenti unificati in tali norme, illustrare i criteri seguiti per la scelta dei metodi statistici, proposti in alternativa, per il collaudo di accettazione dei componenti definiti nelle singole norme e infine per fornire alcuni esempi di impiego dei metodi statistici proposti.
La presente Norma costituisce la ristampa senza modifiche, secondo il nuovo progetto di veste editoriale, della Norma pari numero ed edizione (Fascicolo 2324).
