La Norma illustra nel dettaglio il fattore di accoppiamento K, introdotto dalle Norme della serie IEC/EN 62226 per permettere la valutazione di situazioni di esposizione complesse, come ad esempio nel caso di campi magnetici non uniformi o campi elettrici perturbati, nel caso di un modello di corpo umano semplice esposto a campi elettrici uniformi.
