La presente Norma fornisce le prescrizioni per la fabbricazione dei materiali a base di mica conformemente alla Parte 1, quali lastre rigide a base di mica, materiali flessibili a base di mica,materiali flessibili a base di mica termoindurenti e pezzi formati.
I materiali che sono conformi alla presente Norma raggiungono livelli determinati di prestazioni.
Tuttavia, nella scelta dei materiali per un'applicazione, si dovrebbe tenere conto dei requisiti dell'applicazione specifica, oltrechè delle prescrizioni della Norma.
Questa nuova edizione della Norma, rispetto alla precedente, contiene, fra gli altri, gli adeguamenti necessari ad allinearsi all'ultima edizione della Norma IEC 60371-2.
Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.
La presente versione della Norma Tecnica incorpora il Corrigendum CENELEC di Novembre 2006. Coloro che fossero in possesso della versione precedente della Norma Tecnica, ma di pari edizione (non comprensiva delle pagine suddette), possono scaricarle gratuitamente collegandosi all’apposita Sezione di WebStore attraverso il link del pannello di navigazione presente in questa stessa scheda bibliografica.
