Questo Rapporto Tecnico (Parte 2 della IEC 62471) fornisce le basi per i requisiti di sicurezza dei prodotti di radiazione ottica non-laser, servendo da guida per lo sviluppo di requisiti di sicurezza nelle Norme verticali di prodotto e aiutando i costruttori dei sistemi di lampada nell'interpretazione delle informazioni di sicurezza fornite dai costruttori di lampade.
