La presente Norma specifica le prescrizioni particolari per la prova di tipo di ricevitori elettronici di telecomando centralizzato nuovi di fabbrica per uso interno.
Tali ricevitori servono alla ricezione ed alla interpretazione di impulsi ad una sola frequenza acustica, sovrapposta alla tensione di una rete di distribuzione dell'energia elettrica ed all'esecuzione delle relative operazioni di manovra.
La Norma distingue tra apparecchi di classe di protezione I e classe II.
La Norma è stata preparata per soddisfare le prescrizioni indicate nell'articolo 4 della direttiva europea 89/336/CEE.
La Norma deve essere utilizzata congiuntamente alla EN 62052-21 ed alle parti pertinenti della serie EN 62059.
La presente Norma, congiuntamente alla CEI EN 62052-21:2005-08, sostituisce completamente la CEI EN 61037:1998.
Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.
