La presente Norma fornisce i metodi di prova relativi ai materiali isolanti elettrici atti ad essere applicati come rivestimenti per piastre per circuiti stampati con componenti convenzionali.
I materiali che, provati, soddisfino alle specifiche della Norma, secondo le classi pertinenti, dovranno ovviamente garantire anche le prestazioni richieste dallo specifico impiego.
Rispetto alla precedente edizione di cui costituisce revisione tecnica, la presente Norma contiene tra le altre le aggiunte seguenti:
– nuove prescrizioni per la pulizia;
– nuove proprietà sulla base delle modifiche alla IEC 61086-2;
– una classe 3 di materiali per applicazioni aerospaziali.
Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.
La presente Norma recepisce il testo originale inglese della Pubblicazione IEC e pertanto consta delle sole pagine dispari.
