Lo scopo di questa parte della Norma IEC 60512 è quello di dettagliare un metodo di prova per verificare la capacità delle terminazioni di un connettore di rimanere coperte dalla lega per saldatura quando sono poste in contatto con la lega di saldatura fusa, sotto specificate condizioni.
