La presente Norma specifica le prescrizioni e le prove per i sistemi di canali e i sistemi di condotti destinati all’alloggiamento e, se necessario, alla separazione di protezione elettrica di conduttori isolati, cavi e altre eventuali apparecchiature elettriche in installazioni elettriche e/o sistemi di comunicazione. La tensione massima di tali installazioni è 1 000 V c.a. e 1 500 V c.c.
I sistemi di canali con feritoie laterali sono destinati al montaggio all’interno di quadri in installazioni elettriche e/o sistemi di comunicazione.
La presente Norma non si applica ai sistemi di tubi, ai sistemi di passerelle o di passerelle a traversini portacavi, ai sistemi di alimentazione a binario elettrificato o ad apparecchiature trattate da altre norme.
La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI EN 50085-2-3:2000-01, che rimane applicabile fino al 01-03-2013.
La presente Norma viene utilizzata congiuntamente alla Norma CEI EN 50085-1:2006-03.
La presente Norma riporta il testo in inglese e italiano della EN 50085-2-3; rispetto al precedente fascicolo n. 10637E di agosto 2010, essa contiene la traduzione completa della EN sopra indicata.
