La presente Guida Tecnica descrive il significato e le finalità della prove ambientali (Meccaniche e Climatiche). La Guida fornisce una panoramica estesa sulle svariate e molteplici prove ambientali attualmente in uso, si sofferma sui parametri ed agenti ambientali, sulle relative classificazioni esistenti, sulle severità. Il taglio della Guida è estremamente pratico: essa infatti è corredata da numerose schede di prova che riassumono le caratteristiche tecniche di ciascuna prova e da tabelle utili per simulare le condizioni ambientali per ciascuna classe di prova.
Infine vengono fornite istruzioni e metodi per l'individuazione del tipo di prova più consono alle esigenze dell'utilizzatore della Guida stessa.
