La presente Norma fa parte di una serie che tratta i segni grafici per schemi.
A partire dal 2001 la IEC ha trasferito su un data-base le parti della serie della Pubblicazione 60617 (CEI EN 60617) "Segni grafici per schemi ".
In questa operazione sono stati introdotti nuovi segni grafici e sono stati cambiati i riferimenti di tutti i singoli segni grafici.
Questo data-base IEC è stato recepito dal CENELEC senza modifiche.
Il CEI per non creare grossi disagi agli utenti di queste Norme ha fatto una revisione di tutte le parti della serie 60617esistente, inserendo i nuovi segni grafici e indicando i nuovi riferimenti lasciando anche i vecchi per una più facile individuazione.
