La presente Norma riguarda le guide d'onda flessibili e si riferisce in particolare alla definizione delle principali caratteristiche elettromeccaniche ed ai metodi di prova per la verifica delle proprietà dei tipi di guida d'onda flessibile raccomandati. La presente Norma non si applica a combinazioni di guide d'onda rigide e flessibili né ad elementi speciali soggetti a raffreddamento o sottoposti ad elevate pressioni interne. Fornisce i valori di flessibilità e di torsione corrispondenti ad applicazioni “ripetute“ “statiche” e “preformate”.
