La presente Specifica Tecnica definisce i requisiti per le pompe elettriche centrifughe e periferiche che assicurano la circolazione del liquido di raffreddamento nei convertitori dei veicoli ferroviari e del sistema di raffreddamento associato.
Tali pompe sono di tipo rotodinamico ed azionate da motori chiusi o da motori magneticamente accoppiati.
La Specifica Tecnica fornisce informazioni sui requisiti tecnici e normativi dell’ambiente ferroviario, restringendo la tipologia delle pompe usate in campo industriale.
Essa specifica prescrizioni e prove che permettano l’intercambiabilità particolarmente riguardo alle interfacce elettriche, meccaniche e idrauliche.
La presente Specifica Tecnica deve essere letta congiuntamente alla TS 50534.
