La presente Norma EN 50181 fornisce prescrizioni per assicurare l’intercambiabilità degli isolatori passanti, diversi dai trasformatori a riempimento con liquido, per tensioni nominali superiori ad 1 kV fino a 52 kV compresi, per correnti da 250 A a 2,50 kA compresi e frequenze da 15 Hz a 60 Hz compresi.
La presente Norma fissa le dimensioni essenziali dei connettori separabili a spina, similari, aventi equivalenti valori nominali.
La presente, rispetto alla precedente del 1997, amplia lo scopo della Norma per quanto riguarda:
– la tensione che viene aumentata da 36 kV a 52 kV;
– la corrente che viene aumentata da 1250 A a 2,50 kA;
– l’introduzione di una nuova interfaccia per 52 kV.
La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI EN 50181:1998-05, che rimane applicabile fino al 01-07-2013.
Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.
