La presente Norma europea specifica le prescrizioni relative alle misure protettive a salvaguardia della salute e della sicurezza del personale adibito alla messa in funzione, all'operatività ed alla manutenzione degli aerogeneratori.
La Norma è stata preparata per supportare la Direttiva 98/37/EC.
Le prescrizioni tengono conto dei rischi di tipo:
– meccanico,
– termico,
– elettrico,
– derivante dal rumore,
– derivante da principi ergonomici trascurati in fase di progettazione.
La Norma è valida per aerogeneratori ad asse orizzontale.
Da notare che la Norma non tratta delle misure protettive da osservare durante i processi di fabbricazione, trasporto, assemblaggio ed installazione degli aerogeneratori.
Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.
