La presente Norma fa parte della serie EN 60068 e si occupa delle prove di verifica della robustezza dei terminali e dei componenti montati e fissati nei dispositivi elettrici ed elettronici.
La Norma si applica a tutti i componenti elettrici ed elettronici in cui i terminali e/o i dispositivi fissati sui componenti stessi, possono essere sottoposti a sollecitazioni meccaniche di vario tipo durante le normali operazioni di montaggio o di manipolazione.
Nella Norma vengono descritte le seguenti prove, per le quali vengono anche forniti i relativi parametri:
– trazione;
– compressione;
– piegatura;
– torsione;
– coppia torcente;
– flessione/piegatura;
– strappo/spinta;
– taglio.
