La Norma definisce i metodi di prova applicabili ai materiali isolanti a base di scaglie di mica o carta di mica, con o senza rinforzo, e con carta di mica allo stato puro da utilizzare nelle apparecchiature elettriche.
Essa sostituisce la Norma CEI EN 60371-2 (1998) di pari oggetto.
Le principali differenze rispetto alla precedente edizione sono:
– rinumerazione dei paragrafi;
– aggiunta di allegato relativo ad ISO 67;
– mod- rigidità
– compressibilità elastica
– rigidità dielettrica
– ricerca di difetti e di particelle conduttive.
Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.
La presente Norma recepisce il testo originale inglese della Pubblicazione IEC e pertanto consta delle sole pagine dispari.
