Nella presente Sezione della Norma sono indicati i metodi di misura delle caratteristiche elettriche dei demodulatori di frequenza. Vengono anche incluse le misure della soglia e del rapporto segnale/rumore, poiché essenziali nei sistemi via satellite.
Le caratteristiche da misurare possono essere suddivise in tre categorie principali:
• caratteristiche senza trasferimento;
• caratteristiche di trasferimento da frequenza intermedia (i.f.) verso la banda base;
• certe caratteristiche di trasmissione da banda base in banda base con l’ausilio di un modulatore di misura.
La presente Sezione prende in considerazione principalmente la categoria di misure relative al trasferimento da i.f. verso la banda base.
