La presente norma fa parte della serie IEC 60512 e, quando richiesto dalle specifiche di dettaglio, deve essere usata per impostare ed eseguire le prove dei connettori di competenza del CT 48. Questa prova può comunque essere usata per componenti similari, se definito nelle specifiche di dettaglio.
