La presente Norma fa parte della serie EN/IEC 60745 riguardante la sicurezza degli utensili elettrici a motore portatili ed in particolare riguarda la sicurezza degli apparecchi tagliasiepi, progettati per essere utilizzati da un solo operatore,
per tagliare siepi e cespugli utilizzando una o più lame a cesoia lineari alternative.
Non si applica invece ai tagliasiepi con lama rotante.
La Norma è allineata ai requisiti della Direttiva Macchine 98/37 (modificata dalla 98/79/EC) ed a quelli della 2006/42/EC.
Questa Norma deve essere usata congiuntamente alla CEI EN 60745-1:2010-05.
La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI EN 60745-2-15:2007-06, che rimane applicabile fino al 01-04-2013.
Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.
La presente Norma recepisce il testo originale inglese della Pubblicazione IEC e pertanto consta delle sole pagine dispari.
