La presente guida dà indicazioni per l’effettuazione di prove di vibrazioni e di pulsazioni standardizzate su turbine a reazione ed ad azione, così come su qualunque tipo di pompa-turbina e pompa ad accumulazione, accoppiate ad un generatore elettrico o ad un motore. Le prove descritte sono eseguibili a macchina installata ed hanno i seguenti fini:
• Valutare il progetto, la realizzazione in officina ed il montaggio;
• Valutare i cambiamenti del comportamento delle vibrazioni durante la vita della macchina;
• Permettere la stesura di raccomandazioni applicabili al funzionamento del gruppo;
• Fornire un ausilio nell’analisi dei difetti e dei guasti;
• Indicare criteri che permettano un confronto omogeneo delle vibrazioni e delle pulsazioni di diverse macchine idrauliche della stessa classe;
• Garantire la possibilità di raccogliere dati reali sufficientemente omogenei su diverse macchine idrauliche.
Le prove illustrate sono soggette ad accordo preliminare tra le parti contraenti, in dipendenza anche delle condizioni effettive di totale applicabilità.
