La presente Norma ha lo scopo di stabilire regole e raccomandazioni per l'utilizzazione della carica estemporanea delle batterie per trazione. Come “carica estemporanea” delle batterie al piombo per trazione si intende l'utilizzazione del tempo di riposo, durante un periodo di servizio, per riportare la carica al suo livello e prolungare così la prestazione giornaliera di una batteria, evitando una carica eccessiva.
La presente Norma costituisce la ristampa senza modifiche, secondo il nuovo progetto di veste editoriale, della Norma pari numero ed edizione (Fascicolo 2128).
