Questa Norma riguarda il metodo di misura dell’induttanza serie equivalente (ESL) per i condensatori a montaggio superficiale usati in apparecchi elettronici.
La Norma è applicabile per condensatori con valori di capacità tra 10 micro F e 1000 microF, ESL pari a 5 nH o meno, dimensioni come indicato nella Norma.
Viene descritto il metodo di misura (fissaggio ed attrezzatura di prova, strumenti, condizioni di misura, punti di misura, procedura, preparazione del rapporto, ecc.)
Nell’allegato A (informativo) sono riportati i valori teorici dell’ESL del chip a compensazione breve.
Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.
